Biography

Alexandria studied Art to A-Level but decided against learning the techniques of others in Art School and develop her own signature style. Therefore, she did not graduate in Art but Psychology, finding that the study of the human condition contributes much to the central themes within her Art.

She has since had collectors buy her work worldwide and has been featured alongside Michelangelo as part of the 'Identities' exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum London.

Wanting to do more than merely produce interesting pictures, Alexandria utilises multiple layers within her work to create a rich dynamic of structure and tone. It is common for viewers to report seeing many different images within one of her paintings. Invoking the subconscious, she draws the viewer in, leaving them with a different thought about her work with every viewing.
